Marlene Regina Feik, 79, of Columbus, Nebraska, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Marlene was born February 27th, 1942 to Joe and Elizabeth (Dohmen) Jasper in Humphrey, NE. She grew up in Platte Center, NE where she attended school. Marlene had a very strong faith and even joined a convent for a short time when she was young but eventually could not resist the musical talent of Bert Feik, and they were united in marriage on June 10th, 1961. She was a hard worker and shared her talents with various employers and later retired from working at BDs in 2006. Marlene was active in her church serving as Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion. Marlene was a proud member of St. Anne's and Catholic Daughters. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed keeping busy, which included taking boat rides, vacationing with the family, spoiling her grandchildren with sweet treats, and playing lots of dominoes and phase 10 card games. She is survived by her husband, Bert Feik; daughters Patty Korth (Russ) of Humphrey, Cindy Korth (Rick) of Platte Center; sons Doug Feik of Columbus, Daren Feik (Kimberly) of Friend, NE, and Neal Feik (Heather) of Columbus; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; Sisters Joan Weber Schwanebeck (Warren) of Monroe, Dorothy Brandt of Humphrey, Betty Pilakowski of Platte Center, Maryann Happ of Columbus; brother Dennis Jasper of Osceola. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Elizabeth Jasper; sisters Millie Stott, Helen Shanle, Rosie Mohr; brothers Kenneth Jasper, Jim Jasper, and Clem Jasper. Interment will be at St. Francis Cemetery, Humphrey, NE.
