Obituary (from the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow funeral home website): Sue (Gwen) Burleson of Weston, Texas passed away Friday, May 18, 2007 at her home. She was born March 15, 1947, in Los Angeles, California, to Caleb Levi and Edna (Gracy) Crosswhite. On September 17, 1977 she married Bobby Ray Burleson in Weston, Texas. Mrs. Burleson was a hairstylist for 36 years, working for twenty years at Juanita's and for sixteen years at CC Cutters, both in McKinney. She was a member of First Christian Church in McKinney. She is survived by her daughters, Kelly Sue MacQueen of Weston, Shelly Joy Tyler and her husband James of Lucas and Kandy Rheann Blackburn and her husband Jimmy of Blue Ridge; mother, Edna Crosswhite of Weston; grandchildren, Caleb, Ashleigh, Logan and Erin; brother, Bobby Crosswhite and his wife Sue of Melissa; and sister, Sharon Roybal and her husband Jim of Rhome, Texas. Preceding her in death were father in 1967; and her husband in 2005. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 21, 2007, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow with Rev Billy Echols-Richter officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
