Millie Roe was born in 1818 in Early County, Georgia, the daughter of John and Martha ??? Roe. She was one of four known children born to this family. They probably lived in Early County until after John Roe's death in 1843. Millie married on 14 September 1841 in Early County. By 1847, Millie and Andrew are living in Polk County, Texas, with two daughters and another on the way. Millie died from complications of childbirth but the baby lived. Her final resting place is most likely in the Old City Cemetery, Livingston, Polk County, Texas.
