The date of birth of Jan on his grave stone has been researched in 2017 by two of his great great grandsons. It was discovered that he was born Sep 30, 1848 in House #52 Zivotice u Novy Jicin to parents Franz Neusser and Anna Ritz with the Germanic name of Johann.
