Bio

Mrs. Roxan Austin – El Dorado Springs – Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday for Mrs. Roxan Austin, 84, of El Dorado Springs, in the First Christian church here. The Rev. Paul Whitfield will officiate, with burial in Hackleman Cemetery under the direction of Janssens Funeral Home. Mr. Austin died Tuesday morning in the Cedar County Memorial Hopsital after a long illness. She was a lifetime resident of Cedar County. Survivors include one son, James of El Dorado Springs one daughter, Mrs. Golden McPeak, of El Dorado Springs, with whom Mrs. Austin had made her home, twin brother, Ora Fields, of Blue Springs, and Bryon Fields of Denver Colo. 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
