Lincoln Journal Star (NE) - Thur, 11 Nov 1948 Mrs. Alma Catherine Lowe, 61, of 3020 Folsom, died late Wednesday. Surviving are her husband, Richard F.; son, Harold T. of Lincoln; daughters, Mrs. LaVerne Axthelm of Beatrice and Mrs. Bernice Huigens of Lincoln; brothers, Henry W. Ojendyk of Longview, Wash., Emil Ojendyk of Des Moines and Bill Ojendyk of Lincoln; sister, Mrs. Mamie Dunker of Lincoln; and a granddaughter. Mrs. Lowe was born Dec. 8, 1886, at Ashton, Neb. Some of her girlhood was spent in Portland, Ore. She was married in Lincoln in 1917. Mr. and Mrs. Lowe lived in Montana for five years following their marriage. They returned to Lincoln in 1922 and had lived here since. www.newspapers.com
