WWI & MEXICAN REVOLUTION LOYALTY RANGER Headley Bruce Harris was born November 5, 1876, in Caldwell County, Texas, to Berry B. Harris and Martha O "Mattie" Polk. Headley was of medium height, medium build, had brown eyes and black hair. He was married to Elizabeth "Lizzie" A. Staples in about 1899. They had two children; Elvin F, and Lena Mae. Headley was a farmer in Fentress, Caldwell County, Texas. He enlisted in the Texas Rangers as a LOYALTY RANGER on May 31, 1918 thru February 1919. Headley Bruce Harris died on October 11, 1921, in Caldwell County. He was buried in Fentress Community Cemetery, Caldwell County, Texas.
