Graveside services for Fayrene Hillhouse of Montalba were held at Stafford-Tucker Cemetery in Spingfield, Texas with Rev. Matthew Thomas officiating. Mary Fayrene Schrader Hillhouse was the daughter of WIlliam Horace Hillhouse and Ida Mae Kale Schrader. A life long member of the Carroll Springs United Methodist Church, she was active in the Carroll Springs community for many years. She was an identical twin to her sister, Irene. She was also a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, talking to people, waiting on the mail, going to the boats in Louisiana and spoiling her cat, Sally. She was a loving mother and good friend who will be missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, A..Hillhouse; her parents and grandparents. Fayrene is survived by her loving son, Darrell Lee Hillhouse and wife Kendall; her twin sister Irene Stafford and numerous extended family. (Hannigan Smith Funeral Home 2/2021)
