Franklin Family Plot (left to right) Wilbert Ira Franklin (1904-1981) (Birth year 1904 grave marker; 1903 Find A Grave memorial) Maggie Mae Franklin (1908-1978) Ray Wilbert Franklin (1925-2003) (unmarked grave) Mrs. Maggie Mae Franklin - A native of Louisiana and a resident of Prichard, Alabama died in a local hospital Thursday, June 29, 1978 at 7:30 a.m. She is survived by her husband, Wilbert Ira Franklin, Prichard; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Williams, Dunedin, Florida; two sons, John C. Coleman, Atlanta, Texas and Ira C. Franklin, Mobile; one sister, Mrs. Jeffie Stephens, Bastrop, Louisiana; three brothers, H.D. Moore, Bastrop, Bill Moore, Bastrop and Davis Moore, Mobile; ten grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Northside Funeral Home, Monday, July 3, 1978 at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday. Funeral arrangements by Northside Funeral Home, 1214 North Wilson Avenue, Prichard, Alabama.
