Bio
Lewis Dwayne Warren was born in Como, TX on August 21, 1930. He retired from Lone Star Gas Company after 39 years of service. Dwayne served in the military and the Texas National Guard for several years. He served as a deacon at Forney Avenue Baptist Church, Ferguson Road Baptist Church, and First Baptist Church of Rockwall. He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Rockwall and a member of the Men's Sunday Class. Dwayne Worked with the Boy Scouts and was a 65 plus year 32nd degree Mason. He liked to travel with friends, go to antique car shows and chat with old classmates and church friends at reunions. Preceding him in death were his mother, father, sister and brother-in-law. Surviving him are wife, Wilma Warren, daughter, Carol Blair and husband Bert, sons Jeff Warren and wife Linda, Blake Warren and partner Kent Giles. Also survived by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two nieces, and two stepbrothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
