HOLDER, Mrs. Ellie Welch (A. J.) of San Gabriel. Age 92. Died 9/25/1974 (Wed.) in a Taylor nursing home. Services held (Friday) from St.Mary's Catholic Church in Taylor. Burial in Church Cemetery. Revs. Paul McCallum and James Olnhausen officiated. She was BORN in Milam Co. on 1/10/1882. Until a few months before death she was quite active in that she drove her car to town and did all her household duties. Member of above church. Her husband, A.J. Holder, whom she married 2/25/1900, preceded her in death, 4/13/1961, also a grandson. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Mrs. Harry (Myrtle) Mills, Sr. of Taylor; son, Emory A. Holder of Thorndale, 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces.
