Bio

CONCORDIA, Mo. - Don Robison, 75, of Concordia, Mo., died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at Center Point Medical Center in Independence, Mo. He was born Dec. 2, 1931, in Mound Valley to Claude and Cora Mitchell Robison. He was raised in Mound Valley, where he was a graduate of Mound Valley High School and Coffeyville Community Junior College. On Aug. 31, 1951, he married Betty Ann Angle. She survives of the home. He was a manager for UNITOG Industries for more than 20 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include two sons, Terry Robison of Huron, S.D., and Chris Robison of Concordia; a daughter, Dawn Paul of Blue Springs, Mo.; three grandchildren; and a sister, Thelma Santee of Parsons. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons in infancy. The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Concordia Baptist Church. A graveside service will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Mound Valley Cemetery in Mound Valley. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. The family suggests memorials to Concordia Baptist Church or the American Diabetes Association, and these may be left at or sent to the funeral home, 1002 E. First, Concordia, Mo., 64020.
