Mr. Harold Eugene Stephens, age 76, died peacefully at his home in Hytop, AL on February 11, 2021. Preceded in death by his Father and Mother- Vernon and Sybil Stephens and infant baby sister. Survived by his wife Evelyn of 58 years, 5 children Sharon Stephens, Delores (Spring) Stephens, Alison (Allen) Paradise, Dana (John) McLain, Josh (Dina) Stephens. 8 grandchildren – Daniel Hall, Olivia Sutton, Jessica Sutton, Lily Sutton, Alexandria Parrish, Hayden Paradise, Morgan McLain, Mason McLain. 6 Great Grandchildren – Journey Hall, Judah Hall, Aiden Hambrick, Kaylee Sharp, Rachel Moore, Eli Knight; Siblings – Junior (Margie) Stephens, Glenda (Bobby) Carden, Mitchell (Charlotte) Stephens, Wanda (Ray)Thomas, Randall (Angie) Stephens; many nieces and nephews. His life was one of service with serving 40 years at First National Bank and 60 years serving the Lord. Pallbearers: Daniel Hall, Hayden Paradise, Dakota Parrish, Journey Hall, Craig Bickers, Mark Sutton Honorary Pallbearers: Morgan McLain, Mason McLain Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Hytop Holiness Church with Rev. James “Totchie” McLain officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11:00 am until time of service at the church. Visitation and funeral will be masked events with social distancing in place. The family also request that close contact be avoided to protect those at risk.
