Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Fregia, 87, will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, December 31, 2012 from the Mesa Baptist Church. The Reverends Gary Hemberry and Matthew Robertson will officiate. Mrs. Fregia, a resident of the Autumn Grove Assisted Living Center in Houston, Texas, died there on Friday, December 28,2012. She was born December 29, 1924 in Iowa, the daughter of the late Jesse and Lydia Baxter Seager. She was a housewife and a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Larose, Louisiana. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Clark Fregia; four brothers: Jesse "Bill" Seager; Wilber Seager; Harold Seager; and Delbert Seager and one grandson, William Leroy Forse. Mrs. Fregia is survived by two daughters: Vicki Blanchard of Tylertown; and Sherry Seago of Houston, Texas. Three brothers: Ralph Seager; Leroy Seager; and Donnie Seager all of Iowa. One sister, Beulah Seager of Ohio. 7 Grandchildren; 11 Great-grandchildren; and 2 Great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be: Lawrence Blanchard; George Seago; Todd Forse; Scott Guichet; Wendell Johnston; and Burial will be in the Silver Springs Cemetery with Capps Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation on Monday, December 31, 2012 at Mesa Baptist Church from 9 A.M. till service time at 11.
