Kathrine West December 13, 1927 - February 7, 2021 Kathrine West, 93, of Waco, Texas went to be with her Lord on February 7, 2021. She was born on December 13, 1927 to Richard and Mary Annie (Neely) White. Kathrine had four children who were her pride and joy, George W. (Cindy) West, Jr., of Crandall, Kathy (Allen) Squyres of Forney, Patricia Rejeck of Forney and Lynne (Roy) Todd of Waco. Kathrine had a heart of gold and enjoyed crocheting. She also volunteered at a nursing home. Kathrine loved being in church, worshiping and listening to God’s word. She was an active and faithful member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her four children; sisters, Hazel (Arthur) Wong of Buffalo and Mary Francis “Polly” Mangrum of Mesquite; four grandchildren, Megan Barker, Courtney Pierson, Meredith West and Blake Thornhill also, ten great-grandchildren. Kathrine was preceded in death by both parents; husband, George W. West and grandson, Joseph Randall. A funeral service for Mrs. West will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. A brief visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the funeral home. Steven Trantham will officiate the service. Interment will immediately follow at Buffalo Cemetery in Buffalo, Texas. Pallbearers: Jay Baker, Andrew Tucker, Mason Tucker, Keith Squyres, Roy Todd, Blake Thornhill, Korwin Pierson Arrangements are under the direct care of Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
