Bio

James Heath James Harry Heath, 73, of Winona died April 18 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Mr. Heath was a native of Carroll County and was a retired farmer and member of New Hope Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Velma Corder Heath of Winona; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Smith of Brandon and Mrs. Helen Hill of Florence; two sons, James F. Heath of Grenada and Bill Heath of Pearl; one sister, Mrs. C. S. Carroll of Grenada; one brother, Earnest Heath of Duck Hill; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Services were conducted by Rev. J. Noel Hinson at New Hope Methodist Church at 2:30 Sunday, April 20, Burial in New Hope Cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Billy Costilow, Lavelle Pearson, Bill Johnson, Elmo Johnson, Leroy Mills and Lawrence Pearson. The Winona Times Winona, MS April 24, 1980
