Bio

Martin “Marty” Levinson, 94, of Grand Island passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at home and in peace. Private services will take place at a later date. Marty was born on May 4, 1926 in Chicago, Il, son of Max and Lena (Ducker) Levinson. He grew up and attended school in Chicago where he attended High School. On July 6, 1944 he enlisted in the United States Airforce serving during WWII until his honorable discharge on June 30, 1946. Marty was a caring neighbor and friend to everyone he met. Marty was a loving father to his three children, Linda Moss of Smithfield, VA, Byron Levinson of Cairo, NE and Gordon Levinson of Grand Island.
