Parent links (contributor Angie Palmer)---per the 1940 census ------------ Sapulpa Herald Creek Co. Ok. WILLIAM CRISWELL ENCINITAS, Calif. - William H. Criswell, 69, of Encinitas, Calif., died Sunday at Hancock Park Convalescent Hospital in Los Angeles. Burial and full military rites will be at South Heights Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by a military detail from Fort Sill. Mr. Criswell was a retired Major in the U.S. Army who served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. Survivors include son William H. Criswell II of Los Angeles; daughter Michelle Criswell of Los Angeles; brother Daniel Criswell of Marina del Ray, Calif., and James Criswell of San Diego.
