**************************************** Jeanette "Nettie" M. Novotny, age 74 of Fremont, passed away, Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Nettie was born February 15, 1946, in Hastings, NE, to Arthur and Edith "Judy" (Tomcak) Novotny. She received her associates degree at Metro Community College in Fremont. Nettie worked at several nursing homes in Fremont as a CNA. Shooting darts was a fun hobby for Nettie. She loved animals and supported ASPCA. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Nettie is survived by her daughters, Lori (Jeff) Wood of Blue Springs, MO, Kari (Raymond) Sempek of Fremont, and Gianetta (Tom) Middleton of Fremont; grandchildren, Danielle, Nichols, Kayla, Marissa, Christian, Zachary, Nathan, Kadie, Caleb, and Phoenix; great grandchildren, Haylee, Noah, Colton, Kloe, Jaylynn, Zaylee, Cooper, Avery, Cohen, and Leif. Nettie was preceded in death by her parents; sons in law, Jeff and Ray; great grandchild, Lennon, and infant son. Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
