A homemaker and resident of Gonzales, Margaret Jones died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at 9:15 p.m. at Sherwood Manor. She was 85 and a native of Brusly. Survived by two daughters, Jackie Mayers and husband Gerald, Gonzales, and Brenda Manske and husband, Richard, Erwinville; son, William L. Jones and wife Annabelle, Denham Springs; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Jones; parents, Burgess and Dora Harelson; grandsons, Brent and Kevin Jones; two brothers, Milton and Norman Harelson; sister, Ellen Paille; and Leslie Miller and Norman May.
