Bio

OBIT: Mary Jo Chloupek, 97, Huntsville, MO, went HOME to be with the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2021, at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon. Mary Jo was born on April 21, 1923, in Huntsville, the daughter of Arthur "Ott" and Jennie (Murray) Bagby. She was united in marriage to James E. Chloupek on July 22, 1942. Mary Jo was a teacher for 38 years. Funeral services will be Friday, February 5, 2021, at 11:00am at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville, MO. Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:30am until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Bagby Cemetery which is southwest of Huntsville. Memorials are suggested to the Judith Ann Burton Living Memorial Scholarship Fund. Mary Jo is survived by one daughter, and her husband, two sons-in-law, seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, one sister, and one special friend. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James on November 11, 1979, two daughters, Jennie Crutchfield and Judith Burton, and six siblings.
