Michael Shane Scott November 14, 1975 ~ January 27, 2021 Michael Scott, 45 of Irving, Texas passed away January 27, 2021. He was born November 14, 1975 in Irving, Texas, the only son of Donna Scott. While growing up Shane had a love for sports and spent most of his time at the River Bottom Ballfields, playing for the IBFA and the IBBA where he excelled in both football and baseball receiving numerous awards and recognition. One of his many joys in life was time spent at a local fishing pond with family and friends. Whether playing tackle football or homerun derby in the front yard, Shane's life has always been time spent with friends. He had a special group of friends he considered as his brothers and sisters. Preceded in death by his long standing girlfriend, Danielle Pate, his mother, Donna Scott, grandparents Malcom and Ruby Scott, Aunts, Diane Scott and Shirley Dorrell. Survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Graveside Services will be February 3, 2021 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, Texas...Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home.
