Isaac Harlin was probably born in Stoddard County, Missouri. He was enumerated there for the 1860 census. Family members were there for the 1850 census. On 22 Apr 1869 he married Elizabeth Rogers there. They were there in 1870 in or near the township of Duck Creek. He said his name was Jackson, the only time he appears to use that name. His real estate and personal worth were both valued at $200. Both of them said they were born in Missouri. They were still in Duck Creek in 1880, and he was back to Isaac. They had three children: John P, age eight, William D, age six, and Mary L, age one. Isaac was 28, born in Missouri, his father in Illinois and his mother in Missouri. Elizabeth was age 28, born in Missouri. According to marriage records in Stoddard County, Missouri, Isaac married Mary J Dement (sometimes misread as Demink) on 1 June 1884, Jane Looney on 18 Aug 1889, Minta J. Corey on 5 Nov 1916. There is a birth register for son Lewis Anthony Harlin, born 20 June 1886, in Duck Creek, Stoddard County, Mo, and the mother is Mary Jane Harlin, born in Indiana, and she 30 years of age. That is probably Mary Jane Dement Harlin. The birth date follows the marriage date. By 21 June 1990, Isaac is in Gray, Lonoke County, Arkansas, married to Della (Delia) Dunn Grammer, widow of Calvin Grammer. With them are six of his children and two of her's, James Grammer, age 20 and Laura B Grammer, age 14.
