Bio
HILL, Shirley Joan (Age 87) passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on December 29, 2020. Shirley was born in Loup City, Nebraska to Lewis and Bernetta Williams. She was the younger sister to three brothers. Shirley finished high school in Brewster, WA and married Duane G. Hill on October 17, 1953. They resided in Spokane, WA and raised two sons and one daughter. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years and son, Mitchell Wayne Hill. Survivors are her brother, Robert Williams (Ann), daughter Susan Polensky, and son Gary Hill (Shirley). Various grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who loved her dearly. Shirley was given excellent care from her Princeton Place AFH and she called it home. Gary and Lori Roberto and family built a family around her. Thanks for the love and compassion you shared with Mother. A family graveside interment was on January 14, 2021. Published in Spokesman-Review on Jan. 31, 2021.
