Perry A. Britton Jr., 56, 15 Arlington Dr. Pleasant Township, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 1996, at Warren General Hospital after being hospitalized for a week. He was born July 13, 1939, in Wayne, Ohio, a son of the late Perry and Doris Meley Britton. A Youngsville and Warren resident most of his life. Mr. Britton was employed as a driver for several years with Stroehman Baking Co. and later as a U.S. Mail truck driver prior to his retirement. He attended Epworth United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Flasher. Mr. Britton is survived by his wife, Susan Steele Britton. whom he married in November 1993; a son. Randall Britton. Warren; two daughters. Sandra McCain. Warren and Barbara Stahlman, Clarion: three stepsons. Brian Pfendler, Marienville. William Pfendler, Clarion. and Bradley Pfendler, Warren: a stepdaughter. Amy Muscaro. Warren: two brothers: Richard Britton. Youngsville, and Dean Britton. Starbrick; a sister, Judy Heck. Warren: six grand-children: and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m, Friday at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Paul Thompson, pastor of Epworth United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Tionesta,at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorial donations to the Warren County Unit of the American Heart Association or Epworth United Methodist Church. (Warren Times Observer March 28, 1996)
