Rev. John McGee will officiate. Mr. Janssen, who died Wednesday at home, 111 1/2 North Parkway, will lie in state at McKown Funeral Chapel from 1 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday, then at church from 1 to 2 p.m. Born Oct. 6, 1891 in Germany, Mr. Janssen married Minnie Kamm on Oct. 20, 1930 in Sioux City, Iowa. They lived at Platte Center and Columbus. A former truck driver and employe of Beatrice Foods Company, he was a member of St. Luke Church. Surviving are his wife; daughter, Mrs. Ron (Beverly) Wells of Fayetteville, Ark.; four sons, Victor A. of Vancouver, Wash., Leon D. of Omaha, Gary L. and Gayle A. of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nick (Lena) Kamm and Mrs. Ann Olson of Columbus; brother, Henry Borchers of Minden. One brother preceded him in death. The family suggests memorials to St. Luke Church building fund.
