Anna Delores Boykin Krchak was born to a farming family November 12th, 1933 to Mary and Glen Boykin. She was one of ten children raised by her parents in Loxley, Alabama. Her parents, brothers Emanual, Leonard and sister Mary Elizabeth Boykin preceded her in death along with her husband John L. Krchak (married June 10, 1950). Together they raised five children, two of which also preceded Delores in death.. Delores was a wonderful mother and loved her family and friends dearly. She was a devout member of Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Robertsdale where she served reading the gospel readings during mass and serving as a Eucharistic minister until she no longer felt secure walking up the steps. She was also a member of numerous organizations throughout her life. A Life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary No 5226 (served as several officer capacities) and District 8 President; American Legion Auxiliary of Fairhope; Robertsdale Senior Citizens member and President; Woodman of the World Life member since 1975 and served in several capacities as lodge officers; PZK life member and served as club President & secretary; member of Catholic Ladies Deanery; Voting resistor in Robertsdale and Summerdale for many years; Home Extension (Demonstration) Club member for many years. Delores worked on the farm most of her life while growing up and after she was married along with working outside jobs after the children grew up: South Baldwin Hospital as nurses aid, Cook and waitress at Huedy Greens, Vanity Fair as seamstress, Leggs Bali Hanes at Tanger Mall and Saint Patrick’s Bingo years ago. We will dearly miss her beautiful smile and loving heart. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
