Bio
Martha Darlene Nemec Jones, "Gramma" of Palestine passed away after a month long battle with Covid. She was born to Joseph B. Nemec and Elsie Novosad Nemec. Martha was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and worked for Elara Caring. She enjoyed Hallmark movies, game shows, playing with her grandkids, and teaching children in Sunday school. She constantly brought joy and happiness to those around her with her selfless attitude. Martha is survived by her loving family including her daughter, Ginny Hildebrandt (Jon) of Africa; sons, Joseph Michael Jones of Palestine and Steven Jones (Sarah) of Kaufman; and grandchildren, Josiah, Mara, Madilyn, Micah, Maegan and Brooklyn. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lawrence Nemac. The family will have a memorial service for Martha at a later date. Cremation services are in care of Rhone Funeral Home.
