Bio
Vannette (Stiba) Baker, 82, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away on January 18, 2021, after a long valiant battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Her family was her life and we were all by her side to give her assurance and comfort that she was loved. She will truly be missed by us all. Vannette is survived by her husband of 62 years, Howard N. Baker. She is survived by three sons, Howard (Julianna), Steven (Jeff) and Jason (Cheryl) and her four grandchildren, Jill (Andrew) Collins, Hannah Baker, Austin Todd and Cody Baker. She is also survived by her two brothers and sister in law Grace Baker. We would like to thank Bluewater Homecare and Altus Hospice for their loving care. She was truly a special woman, perhaps best shown by her ability to make friends wherever she went. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with the Rosary service at 7:00 pm Friday, January 29, 2021, at Beck Funeral Home, Round Rock, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 30, 2021, at St. William Catholic Church, Round Rock, Texas, with interment immediately to follow in Our Lady of The Rosary Cemetery, Georgetown, Texas.
