Rosalie (Rosie) Cecilia Helus Gilbert - Rosalie (Rosie) Cecilia Helus, 87 years of age, resident of Gilbert, AZ, passed away due to Covid complications on Dec. 24, 2020. Rosalie was born to Charles and Louise Weber, March 1st, 1933, and raised in Rising City, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Gale E. Helus, June 27, 1953. They relocated to AZ in 1957. Rosalie worked at Motorola for over 30 years and she loved traveling, gardening, sewing, crafting, cooking, baking, and trying new recipes. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. Rosalie is survived by her children: James Helus (Theresa), Kathleen Casey, Lori Jacobs (Randy), Michael Helus (Kathleen); Grandchildren: Tawnya Bragg (Nathan), Randy Jacobs (Crystal), Gary Helus (Thea), Leland Casey (Charlotte), and Ryan Casey; Great-grandchildren: Matthew and Colton Jacobs, Ledger Helus. Rosalie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gale, son, Gary, and great-grandson, Porter. Rosalie will be forever loved and remembered. There will be a graveside service Jan. 23rd with immediate family only. Published in The Arizona Republic from Jan. 9 to Jan. 17, 2021.
