Martha Jean Sanders Castiglione, 91, passed away in Medina County on Jan. 21, 2021. She was born Sept. 2, 1929 in Vernon, Texas to Alfred Paul & Carrie Julia Kahl Sanders. She married Vito "Vic" Castiglione June 8, 1947 in Von Ormy. They were married for 64 years. Jean worked at Schott's Supermarket for 25 years. Survivors include her children Paul Alfred (Kathy) Castiglione of Marble Falls, Kathryn (Edgar) Dodson ofLaCoste, Anna Maria Castiglione and Charles Farrell of San Antonio; daughter-in-law Dianne Castiglione; Grandchildren Mark Castiglione, Amy McKenzie, Mathew Castiglione, Jeannie Krueger, Clayton Ripps, Travis Ripps, Alyssa Carnley, Weston Ripps, Zackry Dodson, Gator Dodson, Donna Shuler, Justin Dodson and Kimberly Dodson; Great Grandchildren Reagan, Bethanne, Jordan, Justice, Jessica, Marin, Morgan, Ashlynn, Kayleigh, Ally, Gavin, Brody, Owen, Tatym, Talan, Ashtan and Dalton. She was preceded in death by her husband Vic Castiglione, her parents, son Stephen Castiglione, daughter-in-law Sue Farrell; sisters Evelyn Burns and Juanita Seay and brother Alfred Carrol Sanders.
