Elizabeth Kay Walker Stone 1929 - 2021 Early Life: Elizabeth was born April 17, 1929, in Nephi, Utah, to Paul Knud and LaRue Munk Walker. She and her family moved to Springville, Utah, when she was in first grade. She graduated from Springville High and attended Brigham Young University. Life's Work | Service | Interests: She served a mission in the Northwestern States for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Upon her return, she married the love of her life, Conrad Gerald Stone in the Manti Utah Temple on January 16, 1951. A lifelong member of the Church, Elizabeth served the Lord in many capacities on the stake and ward level in the Primary, Young Women, Relief Society and Sunday School organizations. She served a mission with her dear husband later in life in the Washington Tacoma Mission. E lizabeth's greatest joy and primary focus was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She made sure to be a part of her children's lives by serving on the PTA board and helping out as a room mother. She loved getting the family together for parties, and loved to cook, and make sure things looked nice. S he always wrote thoughtful notes to family members and friends. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and other handwork. She made many beautiful crocheted gifts for others throughout her life. Elizabeth Kay Walker Stone passed away January 19, 2021. She was 91. Survived By: Her children: Paula Tervort (Tom), Pamela Barnes (Robb), Sandy McGee (Randy), Joseph Stone (deceased), and James Stone (Patrice); 20 grandchildren and 71 great-grandchildren. Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Conrad; son, Joseph; parents, sister and brother.
