Lavada Jewel "Vada" Batson Borsellino, 85, of Corsicana, passed away on January 12, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her beloved family. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Vada was born on September 12, 1935, in Waxahachie, Texas, to the late Rev. Houston B. Batson and Sussie Lee Woods Batson, and she was raised in Waxahachie. In 1954, she married Joe Borsellino and they then made their home in Corsicana where they started their family and built a home and a lifetime filled with love. She was preceded in death by a son, Danny Borsellino; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Borsellino; and several siblings. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Joe Borsellino; sons, Anthony and Chris Borsellino, of Corsicana; grandsons: Drew Borsellino and his wife, Megan, of Argyle, Dylan Borsellino and his wife, Katie, of Cleburne, Chase Borsellino, and Dusty Borsellino, of Corsicana; great-grandchildren: Calen Swisher, of Corsicana, and Kelsie and Lillie Borsellino, of Cleburne.
