Kinder Courier 17 Nov 1994 Funeral services for Ragley native Dempsey Parker, 74, were held Nov. 11 at Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Jack Cliff officiated. Burial was in Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff. Mr. Parker died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1994, in a local hospital. He lived most of his life in Lake Charles and was a World War II veteran and a past member of Carpenters Local 953. Survivors are three sons, George Parker of Sulphur, Jeffrey Parker of Moss Bluff and Jerald Parker of Topsy; five daughters, Sheryl Reeves, Faye Leger, Peggy Rogers and Cindy Parker, all of Lake Charles and Lowana Viator of Houston; one brother, Willard Parker of Carthage, Texas; and eight grandchildren..
