Bio
Vivian L Flaherty was called home to be with the Lord on January 11th 2021 at the age of 102. She passed peacefully in her sleep at her daughter’s house where she lived for 10 years. The last year was in Hospice Care in their home. She was born on January 17th 1918 to William and Jessie Bloomner. Vivian married her childhood sweetheart the late Roy Charles Flaherty in 1935. They were happily married for 49 years. Beloved mother of Roy William Flaherty,(Patricia) both deceased. Betty Ann Woods (Ralph) deceased. Kathleen Sue Brannan, (Mark). Loving grandmother of Kim Briggenhorst, Kay Limpert (Gary), Rick Briggenhorst (deceased) (Sue). Michael Flaherty (Susan)Lisa Flaherty, Kristina Brandt,(Jason) Sarah Riley,(Justin) Shaun Woods,(Amber). She was blessed with 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great ~ great Grandaughter. Vivian was very dedicated to Olive Branch Presbyterian church. She was involved in many different activities as well as Sunday school. Vivian made it a priority every Sunday to welcome every new guest. Her fellow church members were not only friends, they were her family. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
