Martin Henry Niebur, 78, of McGregor, Iowa died Saturday, January 16, 2021 at his home in McGregor, Iowa. He was born on February 9, 1942 to Edward and Dorothy (Fallon) Niebur in Elgin, Illinois. Martin graduated from Lakeview High School in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the United States Army and National Guard. Martin was united in marriage with Marianne Clerico. He worked as a Union Carpenter. Martin enjoyed doing blacksmithing, reading and being outdoors. Surviving Martin are his brothers, Lawerence (Norma Jeane) Niebur of Springfield, Illinois, Kenneth M. Niebur of Chicago, Illinois and Gary S. Niebur of Hayworth, Illinois; and special friend, YaVonna Remdemske. Preceding Martin in death were his wife, Marianne Nieber on December 12, 2001; his parents, Edward and Dorothy Niebur; and one sister, Patricia Rice. A private graveside service with military rites will be held at One Hundred Mile Grove Cemetery in Dane County, Wisconsin. Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of McGregor, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
