Bio
Funeral services for Mr. Harvey Channel, 88, of Henderson will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Jason Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. A register book will be available on Monday January 18, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for friends that wish to come by to sign the register book and pay their respects. Mr. Channel passed away January 15, 2021 at his residence. He was born August 10, 1932 in Mount Enterprise to Pete and Lela (Jolley) Channel. Harvey worked in the Tool Room at Texas Utilities. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Harvey was also a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Lela Channel; one brother, and five sisters. Survivors include his wife Gloria Channel of Henderson; son, Stoney Channel and wife Ree of Flint; daughters, Angela Halfpenny of Frankston, Kerrie Jennings and husband Mark of Lake Tyler; twenty-two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
