She worked several jobs in the area until she started at Eaton Corp. where she worked until her retirement. Since retirement she has touched many lives through the Therapy Dog Program where she became a certified tester with countless volunteer hours. The Corgi Lady as many knew her by took her volunteering serious setting a schedule for her and her dogs which allowed everyone a chance to get Good Loves from her babies. Over the past 20 years her fur babies; Oliver, Skies, Foxy Lady, Bratlee would meet and spend time with children and adults at Richard Young, Reading to Animals at Kearney Library, and all the Farmers Markets in the area. Most recently with Hanzel and Gretel and Jimminy Crikket, and at the Pumpkin Patch this fall where she was able to see kids play with goats that brought her much happiness. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jeffery Murr and wife, Melissa; mother, Nadine Nutter, all of Gibbon; Linda Lethbridge of Madison, GA, Mary (Keith) Ripp of Ravenna, Nancy (Dan) Beruman of Shelton, Bonny Schepler of Fairfax, MO, Jerry (April) Ondrak of Shelton, and Patty (Scott) Meister of Fremont. Claudia was preceded in death by her father, Skinner; brother, Clyde; and countless fur babies.
