Bio
Robert was born on August 12, 1968 to Paul and Dorothy Shonka - the fourth child of this growing Catholic family. Growing up in South Omaha, he attended Catholic Southeast (St. Patrick’s and St. Frances Cabrini) and good old South High School. Yes, he was an S.O.B. - South “O” Boy! Always the life of the party, the practical joker, always the good time, always there for you. After high school he became Co-Owner of AAA Roofing and he prided himself on being the fastest "hand nailer in the roofing business." He was the proudest Papa and loved camping, fireworks, Nascar, hunting, fishing, boating, anything outside, oh and of course Nebraska Football and good old Polka music and his Pivo! And most of all he just loved spending time with FAMILY - he adored his 4 children: Andrew, Meranda, Cody, and Coltin. Always the “Fun” guy and the “Weatherman” - there wasn’t a storm he wouldn’t chase. Preceded by: Father: Paul F.
