Eleanor M. Balak, 88, visitation will be held Monday at Clarkson, Nebraska but no services at Clarkson. Burial will be in the Green Mountain cemetery, Boulder, Colorado. She was born March 29, 1908*** in Clarkson to Alois and Mary (Panek) Kudrna. She was married to Roy S. Petty in November 1930 at Boulder. After his death in 1970, she married Adolph Balak in 1979. She was survived by 1 son, 1 adopted son, 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 step son, 1 step daughter, 5 step grandchildren, 12 step great-grandchildren, 2 brothers: Emil at Oceanside, California; John at Oxford, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 1 son, 3 sisters, 2 brothers.
