Mr. Ewing at the age of 28 years united with the Methodist Church at Bethel and lived a life consistent with the faith which he had professed. He was a member of the Masonic order, a man of charity, an honest and upright citizen, and he leaves behind a record for good works and an influence that will live long. Mr. Ewing is survived by: three daughters, Mrs. Robert Sanders, with whom he made his home, Mrs. Robert Powell of Campbellsburg, and Mrs. Jennie Coleman of Indianapolis; and one son, J.O. Ewing of this county. His wife preceded him to the grave nine years.
