The Lexington Leader September 21, 2006 Eugene Kaderka June 9, 1928 – September 10, 2006 Funeral services were held on September 12, 2006 for Eugene Kaderka, 78, of Rockdale, who passed away at Rockdale Community Assisted Living on September 10, 2006. Rev. Jan Campbell of Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale conducted the services at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Eugene was born on June 9, 1928 in Davilla to Adolph and Millie (Volchik) Kaderka. He was a metal worker for ALCOA Operations in Rockdale. On December 11, 1947, he married Joyce Simcik in Granger. He was preceded in death by his son, David Kaderka in 1988 and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Joyce of Rockdale, son, Johnnie Kaderka and wife Debbie of Houston, daughter, Bonnie Davis and husband Charles of Georgetown. Also surviving are grandchildren, Christina Jimenez and husband Vincent of Rockdale, Natalie Bush and husband Brian of Cedar Park and Amy Kaderka of Abilene; great grandchildren, Hanna, Haven, Halle and Ava. Serving as pallbearers were Bob Bartosh, Ike Korenek, Darwin Kaderka, John Vrana, Ted Thompson and Tutor Doss. Honorary pallbearers were Tom Elchinger, Frank Kubiak, Emil Kaderka and Alvin Wilganowski. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and enjoyed activities with the retired Ingot Department Retirees.
