Son of Joseph and Mary (Hynek) Hecl. World War I veteran. Enlisted while a resident of Brainard, Nebr. His World War II draft registration card states he was born at Stanetice, Czechoslovakia. Married Anna Ustohal on July 10, 1920 in Omaha, Nebr. by Rev. C. W. Savidge, Pastor, People's Church (Douglas County Marriages, Vol. 51, p. 679, no. 52013). Brother of James Joseph Hecl (#152039847). According to his burial card he died February 25, 1951,age 59 years, and was buried February 28.
