Bio

James "Crusoe" Robinson was born in Howell County where he lived all his life. His parents were Lon and Jane Robinson. He was married to Mary with whom he had a son, George W. Robinson (in whose home he was living when he died in 1956), and two daughters, Pearl and Ida. His wife Mary preceded him in death. He then married Oda (Odie) with whom he had 3 sons; Roy, Floyd, Ray, and 3 daughters; Thelma, Hazel, Viola. Oda also preceded him in death.
