Anna Gertrude Nix October 16, 1940 – December 22, 2020 Anna G. Nix of Comfort, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the age of 80. Anna was born on October 16, 1940 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Edward and Mary Feely. She was married to Jerry Mack Nix on August 25, 1961 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Anna is survived by three sons and their spouses: Richard and Sheila Nix of Comfort, Texas; Raymond Nix of Comfort, Texas; Randall and Susan Nix of Fredericksburg, Texas. Anna is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Russell Nix of New Braunfels, Texas; Tyler Nix of San Antonio, Texas; Shelby Nix of Wichita, Kansas; Ryan Nix of Comfort, Texas; Riley Nix and Beau Nix of Fredericksburg, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, R. D. Nix. She was a beloved mother and grandmother, whose grandchildren meant the world to her and lovingly bestowed on her the nickname “Gert”. As per her request, Anna will be cremated with a family graveside service to be held at a later date. She also requested any memorial contributions in her honor be made to the Comfort Volunteer Fire Department.
