Bio
She was born to the late George and Olga Becker on October 22, 1936 in Omaha. Dorothy graduated from Papillion High School in 1953. She married the late Eugene L. Richards in 1956, and lived in Springfield until her death. As a life time resident of Springfield she served her community from 1973-2000 as City Clerk, and from 2006-2010 as Mayor. Dorothy was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, and loved all the birds who considered her numerous feeders their fine dining of choice. Many people were recipients of her Secret Santa pleasure.
