Obituary DON RAY COOK, JR. Born October 27th, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to Don Ray, Sr. and Doris Nell Cook. Gained his heavenly wings on December 25th, 2020. Retired Heavy Haul Truck driver. Don started his driving career at E. L. Powell in Tulsa, then went to work for Arrow Trucking in their Heavy Haul division. He worked there until December 2009 when they closed. He then worked for Lonestar Transportation in Heavy Haul, before his retirement. Don had a kind and gentle soul who loved seeing the world and meeting new people. He never met a stranger. Don was a long time Westsider. He started school at Jane Adams Elementary, then on to Clinton Jr. High. He moved with his family to Houston in 1977 where he graduated from Cy-Fair High School. He moved back to Tulsa and met the love of his life Lisa Hill Cook. Don and Lisa were married February 21, 2003. Don was preceded in death by his parents Don and Doris, sisters Kim and Sherry cook. Survived by: Wife of 17 years Lisa Cook. Parents- Clyde and Joy Buckner, Sister Denise Berna, brother Alvin Buckner all of Tulsa, Ken Buckner and wife Laurie of Magnolia, Texas. Stepchildren: Brian Kinder and wife Christina, Jonathan Kinder, Brandon Kinder and Scottie Hill all of Tulsa. Nephews: David Berna of Tulsa, Wade Buckner of Bella Vista, AR, Bow Buckner of Tulsa and Taylor Buckner of Austin, TX. Grandchildren: Serenity, Brianna, Melody and Damian Kinder, Jayden Kinder, Jeremiah Hall and Haley Hall. One uncle Leo H. Cook of Graham, Texas. Numerous cousins, great nieces and a great nephew.
