Lincoln Journal Star: Web Edition Articles (NE) - Wednesday, February 29, 2012 Ralph J. Perkinton, 90, passed away February 27, 2012 in Lincoln. Ralph was born May 15, 1921 to Henry and Mary Perkinton in Havelock. Ralph was known by his family and friends as the mayor of Havelock. He was a convert of the Catholic faith and life-long member of St. Patrick's Church. Ralph enjoyed numerous hobbies including biking, hunting, swimming, and loved to golf. Ralph is survived by two daughters, Ann Perkinton, and Joan and Tom Scdoris; two sons, Msgr. John Perkinton, and Rex Perkinton; six grandchildren, Lynn and husband Ari, Jenni, Tommy and wife Audrey, John and wife Meghan, Mary and husband Matt, Joseph and wife Mandi; and 18 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Geraldine Perkinton; son Jimmy Perkinton; and brother Hank Perkinton.
