Bio
Daughter of Joseph F. & Lydia (Gabel) Mick. She grew up on a farm in rural Butler County and graduated from Bellwood High School, District 71. Following graduation she worked at the luncheonette at Scott's 5 and Dime in Columbus until her marriage. JoAnn was united in marriage to Kenneth G. Ebel on April 26, 1956 at St. Peter's Church in Bellwood. To this union five children were born. The family resided on a farm northeast of Bellwood. In the fall of 1997, JoAnn and Kenneth retired from farming and moved to Columbus. JoAnn's gift of homemaking was a blessing to her family. She'll be remembered for her cooking, baking, sewing, vegetable gardening and furniture refinishing. Her grandchildren will cherish the memories of the many storybooks she read to them. While in Bellwood, JoAnn was an active member of St. Peter's PCCW for 41 years. For the past 10 years JoAnn and Kenneth have served in the Perpetual Adoration at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus where they are currently members.
