Bio
Addie Faye Harriman, 80, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at a local care center. Addie was born August 25, 1940 in Russell, the daughter of Roy and Frances (Lovelace) Reece. At age 8 she became the foster daughter of John and Elsie Birtell. She graduated from Auburn High School. She was employed as a secretary for the Assistant District Attorney and then manager at the Topeka Truck Stop for 20 years. She was a former member of Auburn Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading, playing games, embroidering and spending time with her grandchildren. Addie married Everett Allen Harriman on November 1, 1958 in Auburn. He died in 2011. Survivors include children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by sons, David and Carl. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
